Northeast Tarrant County is proud to participate national program to engage, educate and connect local entrepreneurs through a weekly educational and networking program founded by the Kauffman Foundation.

About

Northeast Tarrant County is now part of the national program to engage, educate and connect local entrepreneurs. Founded by the Kauffman Foundation, 1 Million Cups is based on the notion that entrepreneurs network and discover solutions over one million cups of coffee.

These free and weekly nationwide gatherings help build startup communities on a grassroots level. Each week, two early-stage business startups present their companies to an audience of community based mentors, advisers and fellow entrepreneurs. Each presentation lasts for six minutes, followed by a 20-minute Q&A session between the presenter and the audience.

The audience also learns a great deal from the presentations. Whether through passively listening or deeply engaging with the entrepreneurs, there is much to learn every week from these dynamic and diverse communities.
